Hi, I’m Jill and I am obsessed with our local food and drink.


I’ve always enjoyed writing and I contribute to a couple of food and drink magazines.


I launched Fife Foodies online during lockdown because whilst it was hard not being able to travel outside of our local area, with so many amazing producers and hospitality venues in Fife, they were all worth shouting about and I ended up discovering so many new products.

As well as loving eating out, I’ve recently discovered the joy of growing my own veg and I’m always trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

I’m passionate about organic, seasonal produce as well as being as sustainable as possible and I’m a member of the Slow Food movement in the UK.


So, keep an eye out for foodie news from around the town, some of my favourite recipes, news from my greenhouse and (if this year is anything to go by) my terrible attempts at growing cauliflowers…
